The aim of the Non-profit Information and Training Centre Foundation (NIOK) is to strengthen the civil society in Hungary through partnerships with non-governmental organisations, setting up support systems that facilitate their long-term development.

NIOK is creating programmes that improve the overall running of the organisations, enhance their professionalism and effectiveness and strengthen their links to the local government, the business sector and society as a whole.
During the recent past, it has become more and more important that CSOs (Civil Society Organizations) are prepared to use information and communication technology in their work.
