Association Rural Internet Access Points
Lithuania went through three landmark stages of RIAPs infrastructural development from 2002 to summer of 2008 with three large projects supported mainly by the EU and Lithuanian Government funds. Who we are:
- Non-governmental organization (NGO);
- 2 full-time and 4 part-time employees;
- One of the main consulting bodies on rural internet access points in the country;
- supporting the development of equal opportunities and information society;
- bridging the digital divide between rural and urban inhabitants;
- Representing and protecting the interests of RIAPs;
- Implementing project in the field by promoting and strenghtening RIAPs
