National Coordination of Care Communities (C.N.C.A.)

National Coordination of Care Communities (C.N.C.A.) The National Coordination of Care Communities (C.N.C.A.) was established in Turin in 1980.
The C.N.C.A is a Federation of groups, associations, co-operatives and social promotion organizations
in 14 regional areas to ensure both its territorial roots and decentralization of decision-making.
CNCA is a federation that coordinates the work of more than 250 associations that benefit the most
disadvantaged – mainly youth (from drug rehabilitation, prostitution or immigrant background etc)
struggling to get back on track.
Expanding from 7 communities to 28 the project in 2008 has delivered greater reach on basic IT skills with a view to reintegration. The model is scalable and adapted to helping local communities and the plan is to build a model on how public & private sector should work with communities for maximum impact across Italy.
