DoIT partnership

In response to the growing need to tackle social exclusion and long term unemployment in Belgium, the DO IT initiative brings together the expertise and resources of 11 NGOs in a network of community technology learning centres throughout Belgium.

This partnership has been set up in the framework of the Microsoft Unlimited Potential program and is coordinated by the Brussels-based Interface3 training centre.

Through short training modules that are organized for registered trainees or through self learning under qualified monitoring of coaches, we bring basic computer and software knowledge to people who, until now and for many reasons, were left aside from the information society.

The partnership has also a mission of advocacy towards the political and economical decision makers in order to enhance their awareness of the need to bridge the “digital gap” for the sake of society as a whole.
